摘要: Some of the regions anomalously high sea-floor topography in today's oceans may be modern allochthonous terranes moving with their oceanic plates. Fated to collide and accreted adjacent continents, they create complex volcanism, cut off trap crust, cause orogenic deformaton. The accretion plateaus during subduction plates responsible for mountain building comparable that produced by collision continents.
