摘要: Gene expression studies advance our understanding of the effects stress and glucocorticoids on brain function give a new direction to animal welfare research. In this context, presence messenger RNA s (m s) for corticotrophin releasing hormone (CRH) vasopressin (VP) in porcine hypothalamus has recently been documented. This study investigated CRH, VP ionotropic glutamate receptor (iGluR) subunit m brains pigs treated with synthetic glucocorticoid dexamethasone (Dex; 5 mg kg(-1)i.v.). hypothalamus, VP, but not was reduced 3 hours after Dex. hippocampus, some iGluR subunits appeared be differentially regulated 6 addition, CRH message detected hippocampus significantly upregulated CA1 region The relevance these findings neurobiology growing pig is discussed.
