Comparative Climate Change Governance: Lessons from European Transnational Municipal Network Management Efforts

摘要: Cities and municipalities are vital actors in addressing climate change. Because they directly affected by the consequences of environmental transformations, cities motivated to shape adaptation mitigation. This paper looks at possible mechanisms which can use engage change issues without decoupling themselves from national or sub-national level while remaining consistent with other local initiatives. The analyses European approach towards transnational municipal networks (TMNs) community collective efforts assesses its application jurisdictions. We argue that TMNs institutional foundation for a concerted effort within between countries; also subject provisions regional governments, might hamper their benefits.
