摘要: The maintenance of genetic stability is essential to the viability multicellular organisms. However, at cellular level, integrity genome constantly challenged. Structural alterations continually appear in DNA, either spontaneously or as a result environmental insult. Endogenously, base sequence modifications occur steady rate byproducts DNA metabolic transactions which habitually erode accuracy encoded information. Organisms have, therefore, evolved wide range molecular mechanisms cope with requirement for cell survival by removing damage and same time protecting from accumulation deleterious mutations. These are processes repair1. proteins performing functions repair also very they protect therefore mutations arising genes coding may inactivate alter themselves. absence prove fatal individual cells face but, more importantly, likely be disastrous organism, where unchecked lead accelerated tumorigenesis. From human perspective, individuals hereditary defects harbour an increased risk cancer their lifetime.
