摘要: PAHs are products of incomplete combustion organic materials; sources are, thus, widespread including cigarette smoke, municipal waste incineration, wood stove emissions, coal conversion, energy production form fossil fuels, and automobile diesel exhaust. As common environmental contaminants, it is important that EPA have a scientifically justified, consistent approach to the evaluation human health risk from exposure these compounds. For majority classified as B2, probable carcinogen, data insufficient for calculation an inhalation or drinking water unit risk. Benzo(a)pyrene (BAP) most completely studied PAHs, data, while problematic, sufficient quantitative estimates carcinogenic potency. Toxicity Equivalency Factors (TEF) been used by U.S. on interim basis assessment chlorinated dibenzodioxins dibenzofurans. Data do not meet all criteria use TEF. The document presents somewhat different estimation using weighted potential potencies.
