摘要: We study the response of a two-dimensional hexagonal packing rigid, frictionless spherical grains due to vertically downward point force on single grain at top layer. use statistical approach, where each configuration contact forces is equally likely. find that double-peaked, independantly details boundary conditions. The two peaks lie precisely lattice directions emanating from application force. examine influence confining pressure applied packing.
