摘要: ABSTRACTThere is a dearth of empirical literature in social work on the hiring practices and preferences human service administrators. Our online survey services managers (N = 370) begins to fill gap. We ask, “What aspects potential employee’s portfolio background are viewed as important by employers?” Findings suggest that majority administrators value interpersonal skills above all else. Academic factors were secondary importance. Some differences preference found based race/ethnicity administrator agency auspice. These findings have significant implications for MSW students educators.
