摘要: The Russian gas market is highly regulated with low user prices of natural gas. In this paper we examine possible impacts regulatory changes on the demand side market. particular, consider effects energy consumers increasing gas, and how in consumption may affect its export to Europe. We also importance pipeline capacity Europe, as well hypothetical behavior. For purpose use a detailed numerical model for markets Europe Russia - LIBEMOD. Our results suggest that will have substantial total Russia, especially electricity sector. magnitude be significantly affected because more becomes available export. Removal other imperfections has smaller quantities than imposing competitive prices. More behavior would lead much higher but our welfare drop due lower
