Pole inflation — Shift symmetry and universal corrections

摘要: An appealing explanation for the Planck data is provided by inflationary mod els with a singular non-canonical kinetic term: Laurent expansion of function translates into potential nearly shift-symmetric plateau in canonical fields. The shift symmetry can be broken at large field values including higher-order poles, which need to hierarchically suppressed order not spoil plateau. herefrom resulting corrections dynamics and predictions are shown universal lowest possibly induce power loss angular scales. At there no from pole just one higher we argue that this phenomenon related well-known extended no-scale structure arising string theory scenarios. Finally, outline other may arise loop effects.
