摘要: The optofluidic ring resonator (OFRR) is a label-free refractive index biosensing platform that uses glass capillary as microfluidic sample delivery mechanism with an inherently integrated optical resonator. device delivers molecular detection limits on par the top-performing commercial sensing technologies while reducing cost and complexity compared fluorescence-based techniques well other devices. OFRR has been shown to quantify target molecules in through specific biomolecular recognition events at surface of capillary. Examples presented here include protein detection, DNA sequence pathogen detection. design makes it well-suited for integration into lab-on-a-chip will have significant implications diagnosis understanding disease.
