摘要: Current amplifier research at the Naval Research Laboratory Vacuum Electronics Branch emphasizes techniques to extend bandwidth and average power capability of gyro devices for millimeter wave radar applications. This paper will discuss implementation a wideband high-gain gyro-traveling tube design, with measured peak output 78 kW, gain /spl sim/60 dB, 3-dB 4.2 GHz (12%) 52 kW in K/sub a/-band. The saturated 70 is 6 (17%), which also instantaneous appropriately tailored input (e.g., equalizer). operates TE/sub 11/ mode stabilization employs high-average compatible diffractive loading technique.
