摘要: Abstract Cut roses ( Rosa hybrida L.) cv. Sonia were continuously treated with water (control), 200 mg l −1 8-hydroxyquinoline sulphate (HQS) or 30 g sucrose plus HQS (Suc+HQS) at 20, 25 and 30°C. Higher temperatures promoted flower opening shortened vase life. Suc+HQS both extended the life all temperatures, but was more effective treatment. Flower diameter fresh weight markedly increased by Suc+HQS, particularly 20°C. Hydraulic conductance of stem segments from control treatment decreased rapidly after harvest, those for treatments maintained near their initial level. Concentrations glucose, fructose in petals treatment, compared Correlations between sugar concentrations maximum positive. These results show that soluble carbohydrate concentration is an important factor determining cut rose flowers examined when hydraulic not reduced.
