摘要: Summary: Twenty-one strains of actinomycetes were screened for the presence chloramphenicol acetyltransferase, enzyme responsible resistance in many species bacteria. Only five strains, belonging to three species, yielded mycelial lysates which catalysed formation acetates acetyl-coenzyme A: Streptomyces coelicolor Muller, S. acrimycini, and griseus. A mutant acrimycini selected an increase had a higher specific activity acetyltransferase than that found parental strain; was not inducible mutant, strain, or any other strain tested. Chloramphenicol acetylated by venezuelae, organism known produce it.
