摘要: For three California dairy herds with bulk tank SCC <200,000/ml, twice daily milking, and no mastitis vaccine, 254 quarters mild clinical were randomly assigned to groups. Group A (n = 74) was treated 62.5 mg of intramammary amoxicillin every 12 h for milkings. C 75) 200 cephapirin two O 105) 100 units intramuscular oxytocin or Aseptic pretreatment quarter samples revealed 94 (37%) coliforms, 65 (26%) environmental streptococci, 34 (13%) other bacteria, 61 (24%) isolate on bovine blood agar plates. Contagious pathogens not isolated. Clinical cure (return milk normal) bacterial (absence primary pathogen isolated pretreatment) assessed at milking 8 d 20 after initial treatment. No difference existed in (67.6, 67.7, 66.7%) (43.9, 55.0 49.1%) rate among rates did differ when grouped by etiology, but than streptococci coliforms lower group O.
