摘要: Synthetic acyclic receptors, composed of two arms connected with a spacer enabling molecular recognition, have been intensively explored in host-guest chemistry the past decades. They fall into categories tweezers, clefts and clips, depending on geometry allowing recognition various guests. The advances synthesis mechanistic studies pushed them forward to pharmaceutical applications, such as neurodegenerative disorders, infectious diseases, cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, etc. In this review, we provide summary synthetic clips that reported for applications. Their structures, mechanism action well vitro vivo results are described. Such receptors were found selectively bind biological guests, namely, nucleic acids, sugars, amino acids proteins their use biosensors or therapeutics. Particularly interesting dynamic tweezers which capable controlled motion response an external stimulus. proved utility imaging agents design release systems. Despite some issues, stability, cytotoxicity biocompatibility still need be addressed, it is obvious promising candidates several incurable diseases therapeutic agents, diagnostic delivery tools.
