Imaging of filtering blebs after implantation of the Ex-PRESS shunt with the use of the Visante optical coherence tomography.

摘要: AIM To analyze the features of filtering blebs following implantation Ex-PRESS glaucoma device (model P-50) with aid Visante anterior segment optical coherence tomography (AS-OCT). METHODS Five patients open angle glaucomas were included in study. They all underwent under a scleral flap. The surgical procedure was augmented use mitomycin C subconjunctivally. analyzed AS-OCT scans taken along axis device. RESULTS All graded as diffuse functioning. morphological characteristics similar to those trabeculectomy. However implant tend form characteristic episcleral lake at site plate implant. CONCLUSION produces trabeculectomy formation
