摘要: The field of building performance evaluation (BPE) forms a fragmented whole with tools and methods that are not widely applicable. In response, the purpose this paper is to develop demonstrate novel BPE framework bring consistency flexibility in evaluating actual performance.,The critically reviews evaluates existing techniques situates them different life stages. Using hierarchical approach, “BPE framework” devised for new buildings as well refurbishments. working demonstrated by applying it four discreet studies enable cross-comparison approaches based on their stage application, depth duration investigations.,The designed have graduated levels starting at “basic” level developing incrementally “core”, “comprehensive” “advanced” levels, thereby focussing “need know” rather than “nice have”. also offers mechanism map types varying scope content.,As we enter world smart meters buildings, transitioning into future understanding performance. study helps better understand which method can be used what aspect lifecycle stage, against time, cost user expertise.,The flexible an otherwise field, help improve
