摘要: Characterising land cover and detecting land-cover changes using spatial methods is an area of research that has been attracting increasing attention recently. We compare performances selected pattern recognition for characterising different covers unclassified Landsat Thematic Mapper (TM) data a lowland site in north-eastern Costa Rica. Two statistics (fractal dimension, the isarithm triangular prism surface (TPSA) methods, Moran's I index autocorrelation) landscape indices (Shannon's diversity index, contagion, fractal dimension from perimeter/area) were investigated.
