摘要: A significant number of requests for on-call geriatric psychiatric consultation will pertain to management side effects psychotropic and systemic medications. Many factors converge make this area an important one, including ubiquitous polypharmacy in older patients, their vulnerability medication-associated syndromes, the need account drug metabolic changes patients leading more cautious conservative prescribing practices. The authors review these other topics pertinent avoiding managing medication when medications paradigm.
