摘要: This study involved analysis of the relationship between remuneration (real wage) and labour productivity in South Africa at macroeconomic level, using time series econometric techniques on annual data from 1970 to 2011. The variables are tested for stationarity Augmented Dickey-Fuller Phillips Perron proved be integrated order one. Further yields a result which depicts significant evidence structural break 1990 long run cointegrating remuneration, unemployment. coefficient error correction term is large, indicating rapid adjustment equilibrium.
