摘要: In 1984 and 1985 seasonal changes in phytoplankton were studied a system of three lakes Loch Vale, Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado. Three periods evident: (1) A spring bloom, during snowmelt, the planktonic diatom Asterionellaformosa, (2) midsummer period minimal algal abundance, (3) fall bloom blue-green alga Oscillatoria limnetica. Seasonal dynamics these are controlled partially by rapid flushing rate snowmelt transport from highest lake to lower stream, Icy Brook. During A. formosa population most downstream has net increase 0.34 d-l, which is calculated abundance inflow upstream lake. Measurement photosynthetic rates at different depths confirmed growth spring. The decline after may be related grazing developing zooplankton populations. possible importance variations nitrate concentrations evaluated situ enrichment experiments. For 0. limnetica populations, stimulation resulted 8- or 16-micromolar amendments calcium sulfuric acid, but reason for this could not determined
