摘要: Abstract A new three dimensional modelling technique has been developed to predict chromium depletion from grain boundaries in Ni–Cr–Fe alloys. The is based on precipitation kinetics represented by the Zener’s Equation and error function solution of diffusion law. Unlike former models, model predicts a natural transition sensitization desensitisation time delay reaching minimum concentration at boundaries. In addition, whole prediction can be made using single Excel worksheet, therefore provides simple effective tool for sensitization/desensitisation predictions studies. Grain size effects temperature-time-concentration (TTC) maps also predicted. validated against experimental investigations reported literature Inconel 690 aged four temperatures different periods good agreement between observations achieved.
