摘要: Magnetic resonance imaging is the modality of choice for evaluation diseases spinal cord and its coverings primarily because improved lesion detection characterization. The differentiation intramedullary pathologic conditions (arising within cord) from extramedullary lesions (lying either thecal sac (intradural) or outside it (extradural) usually straightforward. Although many may occur in more than one compartment extend to involve simultaneously, accurate positioning a detected canal assessment signal characteristics help differentiate commonly encountered aid preoperative diagnosis. This pictorial review discusses findings distinguishing features variety intraspinal cystic with use magnetic imaging. appearances are correlated histologic where available.
