摘要: Abstract. The persisting problem of poverty in the global south, since 1990s, has been increasingly analysed and tackled from perspective poor themselves. shift view point a structurally oriented to more actor-oriented was closely related concept livelihoods, which put strong emphasis on people-centredness, examined coping survival strategies people at risk. Livelihoods analysis widely applied by research scholars as well development practitioners but drawbacks pitfalls approach have become obvious with its continued application. criticised for imbalanced consideration structure–agency relation, narrow focus household unit analysis, non-embedded understanding assets, negligence spatial temporal dynamics. livelihoods is crossroads. Several drawn Bourdieu's theory practice overcome identified challenges. This article seeks bring together these insights show how Bourdieusian can inform contribute advancements research.
