摘要: The application of radio observations to the study solar drivers space weather - flares and CMEs is reviewed. different emission mechanisms relevant in corona interplanetary are discussed, with an emphasis on plasma emission. principal types instrumentation used presented, as well some basic techniques which can be applied extract information from obtained data. kinds bursts (intense non-thermal features observed dynamic spectra) discussed. They categorized according observing frequency range respect their spectral characteristics. Finally, applications data studies reviewed: underlying physics eruptive events, they correlated effects at Earth order forecast hazards, allow tracking potentially geo-effective disturbances (interplanetary coronal mass ejections shock waves) Sun through Earth.
