摘要: We compare the results of surveys starless cores performed with CS (2-1) and (3-2) lines to study inward motions in cores. The velocity shifts CS(3-2) respect are found correlate well each other have similar number distributions, implying that, many cores, systematic gaseous material may occur over a range density at least factor 4. Fits spectra 2-layer radiative transfer model ten infall candidates suggest that median effective line-of-sight speed inward-moving gas is for CS(2-1). Considering optical depth obtained from fits usually smaller than line, this indicate traces inner, denser greater CS(2-1) faster toward center. However, conclusion not be representative all core candidates, due statistically small analyzed here. Further line observations will useful test conclusion.
