摘要: Cholesterol (CHOL), free fatty acids (FFA) and nine classes of ceramides (CER1-CER9) form the main constituents intercellular lipid lamellae in stratum corneum (SC), which regulate skin barrier function. Both presence a unique 13-nm lamellar phase, formation depends on CER1, its dense lateral packing are characteristic for SC organisation. The present study focuses organisation mixtures prepared with CHOL, FFA limited number synthetic CER, namely CER3 bovine brain CER type IV (SigmaCERIV). objective is to determine optimal molar ratio SigmaCERIV phase. contains uniform acyl chain length, whereas varying lengths. Using small angle X-ray diffraction (SAXD), it demonstrated that affects phase FFA. Furthermore, not very sensitive variations total level, similar vivo situation.
