摘要: Abstract This paper presents a theoretical basis for varying wage rates with staggered work hours. Urban scale economies and decreasing marginal returns to labor are shown exert opposite, but not necessarily equal, influences on wages. An ordered probit model is used survey data from Singapore estimate income as function of start time. Results indicate the presence production effects due dominate effect returns.
