摘要: Galactose-terminating ligands are specifically recognized by mammalian hepatocytes, internalized, and degraded within lysosomes. We have studied the effects of temperature on this process using 125I-asialofetuin perfused rat liver. Uptake catabolism continued but were progressively slowed as decreased from 35 degrees C to 20 C. At C, lysosomal degradation completely stopped. Results subcellular fractionation experiments in situ electron microscopic autoradiography revealed that fusion between pinocytic vesicles lysosomes did not occur below despite endocytosis movement into lysosome-Golgi region cell. Below 10 essentially Inhibition step was reversed upon rewarming liver physiological temperature. By examining reversal half-time for determined be 7 min. This is slowest metabolic event involved asialofetuin both organ vivo.
