摘要: Abstract The assessment of nature's contribution to people (NCP) is an important strategy for decision-making given the increasing need reconcile biodiversity and human society with conservation. A monetary a non-monetary approaches were combined evaluate pollination services provided by two Brazilian protected areas (PAs) in northern (Serra da Bocaina, Para) southeastern region (Mata do Jambreiro, Minas Gerais) within Amazon forest Atlantic biomes, respectively. valuation methodology was based on role crop production municipalities surrounding PAs, involved estimating wider range resources sustaining pollinators. In Serra total annual value performed bee species estimated at approximately 564,000 dollars Mata 246,000 dollars, both 2016. highlighted PAs their denser plant coverage. methods used this study allowed us integrate different types information: diversity data, spatial data surroundings, economic agricultural neighbouring municipalities. results can be applied management sustainability studies aiming increase awareness about importance production. This demonstrates where efforts concentrated future proposals valuating conservation strategies, especially are scarce.
