摘要: Bone drilling is an important medical maneuver in a general orthopedic surgery. Hole by using conventional mechanical rotary drill avoidable for tiny bone chip and corrosion of bit. An application microwave energy to hard cortical even though proposed some researchers but investigation thermal interaction at site still remain promising especially term simulation. This research investigates ablation through 3D FEM solver. Microwave applicator was designed as opened-tip coaxial antenna which inserted into center model. Temperature pattern hot spot estimate drilled hole size predicted finally. These useful simulation results can be basically applied design development practical system near future.
