摘要: Abstract Gamow-Teller (GT) transitions are discussed in the context of nuclear shell model. It is pointed out that GT strength function contains information both about character constituents and effective residual nucleon-nucleon force. A major part inaccessible to beta decay, but (p,n) reaction can be used probe without energetic limitations decay. The experimental techniques reviewed. data surveyed. Only 55% sum rule seen. possibility missing signifies presence delta or quark degrees freedom constituent particles model discussed.
