Resulfurization behavior of pipeline steel in a converter steelmaking process

摘要: The strategies for controlling resulfurization in a converter steelmaking process were clarified to produce pipeline steel with the KR–LD–RH–CC route, and influence factors of investigated based on industrial data theoretical analysis. results show that KR slag lime account largest proportion sulfur-bearing materials sulfur converter. fluctuation was also significant. removal ability greater by using crawler loader than slag-dredger. can be more effectively restrained conventional duplex process. Moreover, rate-limiting step is considered mass transfer from interface toward bulk phase, doubly saturated MgO 2CaO•SiO2 proposed restrain rate without changing dephosphorization rate. experimental content before tapping into ladle controlled at 0.002% 0.003% when employing above strategies.
