摘要: Abstract Puerarin, the most important flavonoid in Puerariae Lobatae Radix (PLR), has high biological activity but poor oral absorption. This study investigated how to enhance absorption and pharmacokinetics of puerarin through modulating intestinal barrier. Analyses absorption, demonstrated enhanced with daidzin, daidzein ligustrazine (the main active ingredient vinegar Chuanxiong Rhizoma (CXR)). In particular, PLR combined CXR elevating solubility, regulating P-glycoprotein efflux reducing claudin-5 expression. The combination reduced diversity gut microbiota ratio Firmicutes Bacteroidetes. conclusion, combining by barrier influenced microbiota. is likely be a potential target for CXR.
