The Glucose Well Babies study (GLOW) sought describe glucose, lactate and beta-hydroxybutyrate term babies over the first 5 postnatal days. We also understand both parents’ experience participation this study. Design, setting, patients interventions Eligible were healthy, term, appropriately grown singletons born birthing centre, hospital or home within greater Hamilton area then discharged home. had subcutaneous continuous glucose monitoring placed soon after birth, up 14 heel-prick samples, twice-daily visits parents asked record all feeds. Parents reported they liked contributing improving healthcare (126/131, 96%) support from GLOW team (119/131, 91%). Nearly (127/131, 97%) would participate again if another baby, recommend family friends. Two-thirds (87/131, 66%) that made them more likely contribute clinical research future. Conclusions Non-therapeutic studies involving procedures are feasible, positive
