摘要: Pheromones, a mix of proteins and lipids, are involved in lizards' conspecific recognition. In our study, we specifically address whether fecal lipids recognition the Weeping Lizard, Liolaemus chiliensis. The feces each sex were dissolved n-hexane to isolate their lipidic fraction. We then exposed individuals both sexes L. chiliensis fractions control (n-hexane), recording responses. Lizards more active when from male than female or control, suggesting that fraction conveys some information for There was, however, no further evidence recognition, herein offer possible explanations this low responsiveness fractions.
