摘要: Five hundred and fifty-five beach profiles surveyed during 5 years (3 for the Indian Shores) along 20-km at Sand Key, west-central Florida were analyzed to understand regional characteristics of closure depth equilibrium profile. Using a 6-yr average 12hr extreme wave conditions obtained from local WIS station, Birkemeier (1985) formula reproduced measured northern part study area (without direct control hard bottom) well, whereas Hallermeier (1978, 1981) significantly over-predicted value.
