摘要: The carcinogenic process involves a complex series of genetic and biochemical changes that enables transformed cells to proliferate, migrate secondary sites and, in some cases, acquire mechanisms make cancer resistant chemotherapy. This phenomenon its most common form is known as multidrug resistance (MDR). It usually mediated by overexpression P-glycoprotein (P-gp) or other plasma membrane ATPases export cytotoxic drugs used chemotherapy, thereby reducing their efficacy. However, additional adaptive are likely be required order confer full MDR phenotype. Recent studies have shown acquisition accompanied upregulation lipids proteins constitute lipid rafts caveolar membranes, notably glucosylceramide caveolin. These may related the fact significant fraction cellular P-gp associated with caveolin-rich domains, they involved drug transport could an impact on druginduced apoptosis phenotypic transformation cells.
