摘要: The present study examined patterns of recent club drug use among 400 young adults (18-29) recruited using time-space sampling in NYC. Subjects had used at least one six drugs (methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), ketamine, gamma-hydroxybutyrate (GHB), cocaine, methamphetamine, and D-lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD)) within the prior 3 months. We latent class analysis (LCA) to estimate groups based on differences demographic psychological variables by class. A 3-class model fit data best. Patterns were: Primary cocaine users (42% sample), Mainstream (44% Wide-range (14% sample). Those most likely be were significantly less heterosexual males higher educational attainment than other two classes. females, more gay/bisexual males, dependent drugs, greater sexual sensation seeking, when experiencing physical discomfort or pleasant times with others compared groups. Findings highlight utility person-centered approaches understand substance use, as well several adults.
