摘要: Unscheduled DNA synthesis (UDS) has been found to occur in vivo specific meiotic and postmeiotic germ cell stages of male mice after mutagen treatment. Techniques problems involved measuring UDS are discussed, including the administration tritium-labeled thymidine ([3H]dT) mutagens, detection using liquid scintillation counting (LSC) autoradiography. The sensitivity cells is compared that other genetic end points, possible role actual repair damage considered. Possible areas for future research on mouse suggested.
