摘要: Abstract Brian Spalding did not invent CFD. He even coin the name. But more than anyone else, he created practice of CFD—its application to problems interest engineers. The author was associated with, and an integral part of, team led by Prof. that developed basic engineering came be known as Imperial College (IC) approach “CFD”. Most today's commercially available CFD software tools trace their origin work done IC group in decade spanning mid-60s mid-70s. This paper is a personal recollection key moments developments at role played leader active contributor to, Group. His insights during this often made breakthroughs possible re-directed focus critical moments. also explores opportunities missed Group breakneck progress
