摘要: A three-dimensional (3D) ultrasound imaging system has been used to study spatial compounding of images acquired with different scanhead positions and orientations. algorithm developed which assigns regional weights depending on the local incidence angle beam. Compound scans were performed bones in vitro shoulder rotator cuff volunteer subjects. Border measurements (peak value width) compiled as a function beam compared for single views maximum, mean weighted techniques. The produces less variability than that maximum both intensity border width. method also demonstrates blurring borders methods. Surfaces derived from reconstructions exhibited fewer gaps spurious connections between surfaces, could be particular importance automated image analysis.
