Facile synthesis of bimodal nanoporous carbons by templating selective Swelling-induced mesoporous block copolymers

摘要: Abstract There is a strong need for simple and efficient strategies to produce nanoporous carbons with hierarchical porosities number of applications such as supercapacitors. Here we demonstrate the ease preparation both microscale mesoscale by infiltrating oligomeric phenol–formaldehyde resols into mesoporous block copolymer (BCP) templates followed thermopolymerization carbonization. The polymeric are produced an extremely highly flexible selective swelling method which involves only immersion BCP film hot ethanol few hours subsequent air drying films. exhibit structures thin pore walls containing micropores, implying porosity porous carbons. Such hierarchically work supercapacitors exhibiting capacitance high 173 F/g at 1 A/g. Additionally, excellent high-rate steady 165 F/g 5 A/g maintained after 10,000 cycles. performances originated from fast ion transport pathways low resistance charge diffusion enabled structures.
