摘要: Epithelial ovarian cancer is the fifth most frequent cause of death in women. In spite advantages early detection and treatment options, overall survival rates have improved only slightly last decades. Therefore, alternative therapeutic approaches need to overcome resistance improve patient outcome. MicroRNAs are evolutionary conserved small non-coding RNAs that function as negative regulators gene expression by inhibiting translation or inducing degradation messenger RNAs. cancer, microRNAs aberrantly expressed thus representing potential prognostic biomarkers novel targets. The knowledge unexpected functions rapidly evolving advance elucidation clinical applications deserves attention. Recently, a specific set dubbed metastamiRs been shown initiate invasion metastasis diverse types cancer. We reviewed current status development progression with special emphasis on tumor cells metastasis. Also, we show an update microRNA oncogenic pathways discuss scenario for translational research
