摘要: Depression and anxiety symptoms typically demonstrate relationships with problematic smartphone use (PSU) across the literature. However, mechanisms involved in these have not been widely reported. In this paper, we focus on important but relatively neglected transdiagnostic between depression PSU, involving maladaptive cognitive emotion processes. Cognitive processes discuss include repetitive negative thinking (i.e., rumination worry), boredom proneness, fear of missing out (FOMO). Emotion dysregulation distress intolerance. Studies support for correlating PSU severity, serving as mediators PSU. Maladaptive are that can account should be further studied.
