摘要: Abstract Changes in tubulin expression are among the biochemical and morphological adaptations that occur during life cycle of Trypanosomatids. To investigate mechanism responsible for differential accumulation mRNAs Trypanosoma cruzi , we determine sequences α- β-tubulin transcripts analyzed their parasite. Two 1.9 2.3 kb were found to differ mainly by an additional 369 nucleotides at end 3 ′ untranslated region (UTR). Although transcription rates similar epimastigotes amastigotes, 3- 6-fold more abundant than trypomastigotes amastigotes. Accordingly, half-lives significantly higher Transient transfection experiments indicated positive regulatory elements UTR plus downstream intergenic α-tubulin gene both negative equivalent regions gene.
