摘要: The thermodynamics of MnO-containing slags was reviewed, and the properties such were correlated by application cell model. This model, together with a previously developed unified interaction parameter model for metal phase, used to simulate gas-slag-metal conditions in hearth ferromanganese submerged arc furnace. calculated slag compositions distribution Mn, Si, K between slag, metal, fume compared plant data satisfactory agreement obtained. A steady recirculation potassium inside furnace also predicted. For percentage raw materials 0.63 pct, amount recirculating about 160 kg per metric ton ferromanganese. Due recirculation, average content solid mix coming down could be as high 7 pct.
