摘要: A one year study was carried out to investigate the variations in benthic community structure along an environmental gradient of salinity and bottom substratum a sub-tropical estuary Hong Kong. The dominated by gastropod Turritella terebra, lesser extent, Murex trapa crab Portunus hastatoides. total number animals, biomass as well domanance T. terebra decreased, while species diversity increased increasing decreasing siltclay fraction sediment.
