摘要: Ecological data often come in the form of multidimensional tables counts, referred to as contingency tables. During last decade several new methods analyzing such have been proposed. Here, a class models analogous those used analysis variance is discussed, and method for computing expected cell counts different presented. Two differenet tests checking goodness—of—fit particular model are then examined. The first simple generalization Pearson chi—square test statistic, while second likelihood—ratio statistic. Both same asympototic g2 distribution. statistic can be selection suitable model, via technique partitioning. All presented illustrated using collected by Schoener on lizards from West Indies.
