摘要: Several errors inherent to the Fourier transform method for optical thin film synthesis, including inaccuracy of spectral functions Q (sigma) used in transforms, are compensated numerically by using successive approximations. We show that complex phase is a key parameter which can be exploited reduce significantly thickness synthesized films and control shape refractive index profiles without affecting performance. This compared other well established design techniques.
